Trouble with blurb...

Does anyone else have trouble when working on their blurb book? I've had my 1st book in my computer for months now and every time I go to work on it, it takes FOREVER to work on each page! It's driving me crazy! Any ideas? I have a mac and I update blurb every time it tells me to! HELP!!! I really want to get this done, so I can work on the next one!

I love IPHOTO!

I've been playing around with my iphoto instead of doing anything constructive today. I took photos of my girls this morning (it's picture day) cause I want to see who takes the best ones :) Emma was "nervous" cause it was her "first" picture day - "well at least at school" she said.

Anyway... I was playing around with their pics and I think I did a pretty good job. What do you think?

Now I must run, my visiting teachers will be here shortly...

a little obsession..

My girls and I have found some great hair blogs - courtesy of Paige telling us about them ( a while ago..) I found a new one today and she's doing a give away. She had the most beautiful girls (5)!

Here are some hairstyle's that Emma has rocked from other blogs......

Do the happy dance, just cause you can!

Today's Message of the Day is:

Life is short, Break the rules, Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly, Love truly,
Laugh uncontrollably, And never regret anything that made you smile.

Life may not be the party we hoped for,
but while we're here we should dance.

To be like my mom...

Sooo... Saturday my mom and I were going to take my 3 girls to Apple Hill and my sister came up to surprise us and go with us. (she's moving to Palm Desert on Wednesday:( )

The first orchard we stopped at is the best one there. High Hill Farms. They had face painting, a pond, pony rides, and a craft fair! Face painting was our first stop!

Emma was first with a Dolphin...
Cheyenne was next with a butterfly all over her face..
Even Shelby sat for a heart...
Rebecca was next with a whale tail... thinking of Hawaii
A little peace for Katelynn.....
Then my mom jumped in and said "I want one. I have never ever had my face painted before." I was surprised and grateful for her example of seizing an opportunity.  Especially the example for my girls. It is never too late to get your face painted.

Maybe next time I'll seize the moment, too. Thanks mom. I love you!

CA family fitness

Try as we may, I think we have found a fun answer to getting fit and healthy. There is a great place here for families. There are pools, kids club, every kind of work out equipment to use, even the kids. Best of all the rock climbing wall. That is the best. We are giving it 2 months to see if we can commit to it. (it's kinda pricey) We are enjoying it very much and we are getting out as a family. Plus the pool helps as it's been pretty hot up here!

go Emma
Andrew & Becca
It's been fun to do this. I know my hubby feels better, my oldest feels better and it gets us out of the house in the eve! I'll keep our progress updated!

Thanks!

Talk went well. I took about a 1/2 hour cause Mark told me to. He did a wonderful job, too. Everyone loves a conversion story mixed with gospel principles. I think our ward got to know us a bit better. Katelynn did a wonderful job on her talk, also. I love to hear her speak of her love for her Savior and the things she's learned. All in all it was a good Sunday.

(Andrea, I wish you were there to throw things at me, too! Although you woulda been crying along with the rest of em!)

I got my little girls back on Monday. They were in SF with my parents, who were bbsitting my nieces there.

They seemed to have a blast and my parents made it home alive! Their favorite part was the Exploratorium. I haven't been there in ages.

A fun time was had by all! When I get more pics I'll post em.
