To be like my mom...

Sooo... Saturday my mom and I were going to take my 3 girls to Apple Hill and my sister came up to surprise us and go with us. (she's moving to Palm Desert on Wednesday:( )

The first orchard we stopped at is the best one there. High Hill Farms. They had face painting, a pond, pony rides, and a craft fair! Face painting was our first stop!

Emma was first with a Dolphin...
Cheyenne was next with a butterfly all over her face..
Even Shelby sat for a heart...
Rebecca was next with a whale tail... thinking of Hawaii
A little peace for Katelynn.....
Then my mom jumped in and said "I want one. I have never ever had my face painted before." I was surprised and grateful for her example of seizing an opportunity.  Especially the example for my girls. It is never too late to get your face painted.

Maybe next time I'll seize the moment, too. Thanks mom. I love you!

those are actually really cute paintings. why do the ones my kids get always look like they were done by the local brownie troop? oh, probably because they were.

What an example of having fun the right way!! Way to go Grandma!!

We love High Hill Farm, they have the best Christmas trees too and later in the season the carmel apples are to die for!! We're going up in a couple of weeks and it's always a highlight of my kids autumn memories!

That is the cutest faces ever. And the paintings on them aren't bad either. The seizing the moment is such a great way to live Hillary.
