Stake Conference

Today was stake conference. I wish I could say that I heard ANYTHING that was said. My husband woke up with what I have had. He tends to get thigs worse and faster. He feels worse but he gets better faster. Maybe it has to do with the fact that he can sleep and rest the whole day (although, he did get up and clean the whole kitchen - for which I am truely grateful).

Anyway.... I took all 4 kids, one who was singing with a stake children's choir. Of course we had to be there by 9am, so there goes sleeping an extra hour... SO the complaining started from the boy. My sister and her 2 little girls joined us, also, without hubby. So to say the least there was lots of squiming and loud whispering and crying and complaining and, oh yeah, and then I had to seperate my two oldest. She went over and I went under and she fell on the floor. I'm sure it looked like she disappeared into nowhere. Anyway, we left and I got a long nap :)

The best part of today was the sticky buns I made last night/this morning. So easy and sooooo yummy!

Ah, we call that MAN sick. I blogged about it a few weeks ago. Those rolls would make me feel better about conference too!

YUM! And so sorry about conference. If I had to go alone I would leave early too. When your kids are being naughty it is just too hard!

Oh my gosh! Those look so yummy! Hope your hubby is feeling better! Props to you for going to stake conference without hubby. I would have just stayed home.

Hey just read your blog. I am LDS too. I don't think I would have even tried. This past year they had a "family" room where you could go and watch a live feed on a tv if your children got restless. That was pretty nice.
The rolls look absolutely delicious!!

WOW! The sticky buns look wonderful! The Pioneer Woman would be proud!

Thanks for your kind comments! The roasting pan was only $30 at our Sam's and I highly recommend it. As for the brine, I made my own. I used 1 1/2 cups of salt, and then put in every spice in my cabinet that didn't have a sweet smell! I'm still learning here, but it worked! I do want to try the brine she uses, but mine was free and already at my house, so it worked for me!

Stop back by anytime!

We sat right behind you at S.C. and I thought you did a great job. Infact I would say that your kids were great having been there from 9 till noon. I wish we had sticky buns when we came home from S. C.
